A weak cold front today brings the only chance for rain we see over the next seven days…And even that chance is a slim one. However, a few spotty showers may briefly slow the morning commute in some areas. Rainfall totals for the few that do see rain will only be between 0.1-0.2”. We’ll climb into the upper 70s today under a mostly cloudy sky.
Clouds decrease tonight with slightly cooler conditions, compared to today. Lows will be back into the low/mid 50s. We'll only feel a slight dip in our temperatures behind the front on Friday. Highs will be in the upper 70s to round out the work week, but we return to the 80s for the weekend.
Not only that, but highs could be at near record levels. The records we’re going up against are 86° Friday through Sunday and 87° for Halloween.
We’ll be dry through the weekend with plenty of afternoon sunshine. Morning lows will also be warmer than average, generally in the low-to-mid 50s. Our next big cool down looks to come towards the end of next week. That would likely be when our next best rain chance moves into the Valley. A burn ban remains in effect for the area…so no outdoor burning. Grilling is fine, but pay closer attention to the embers if you’re using charcoal.
