Look for more clouds than sun across the Valley after a foggy start to the day. That being said, there could still be significant breaks in the clouds from time to time...especially south of the Tennessee River. Temperatures will push through the 60s this morning, and we should be around 70° at Noon. Highs will make it into the mid 70s and it won’t be as windy as yesterday.
Look for those readings to cool off quickly this evening. If you’re headed out tonight, you’ll probably want to take a jacket. Temperatures should dip into the 50s by around 10 p.m.
Lows should drop into the lower 50s to start Saturday, although some will dip into the upper 40s. We should see more sunshine across the area Saturday, and highs will be in the upper 70s.
We’re still in store for a cool night with lower 50s once again. We’ll start to warm back up as we close out the weekend. Under a mostly sunny sky, highs should be back into the lower 80s on Sunday. That warming trend continues as we begin the new work week. We’re not expecting a return to summer-time weather, though. Instead, highs make it into the mid 80s for the middle of next week.
Lows will get milder over this same time period. They should be closer to 60° by Tuesday night. The dry weather we’ve experienced lately is expected to continue. It’s worth noting that historically, October is one of our driest months.
