Patchy fog may develop in areas that received rainfall today so some slowdowns are possible on the Monday morning commute with reduced visibility.
Hit-or-miss summertime storm chances will continue to kick off the new work week. It won’t be a wash out any particular day, but the stronger storms may contain heavy rain, gusty winds, small hail, and frequent lightning. Highs will be in the low 90s to start the week and build into the middle 90s by the late week.
With school starting back for many this week, be sure to track developing storms on the WAFF Weather App. Just text APPS to 4-48-48 for downloading instructions. The weather pattern gets a little more unsettled by next weekend. It still doesn’t look like a washout, but rain chances increase Saturday and Sunday.
