After a beautiful day with highs reaching the lower 70s expect to see more clouds overnight with lows around 52. The weather will be unsettled for the rest of the week with the chance for some strong t-storms Tuesday and another round of rain on Thursday. Cooler weather will also return with highs near 50 Wednesday and only in the middle 50s for the rest of the week.
We are tracking a storm system that will move through the Tennessee Valley rather quickly on Tuesday. Winds will increase from the south during the morning hours and temperatures will reach the middle to upper 60s by Noon. Showers and thunderstorms could move into NW Alabama as early as 11am. They will track to the east into the afternoon and be capable of wind gusts 35-45 mph and locally heavy rain. Some isolated reports of wind damage will be possible. It looks like most of the storm activity will be gone by 8pm. Stay tuned for updates on this developing system.
The weekend ahead is looking warm and dry with highs near 70 Saturday and Sunday.
Have a great night.
