We will have fewer showers and storms for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. Expect more heat and humidity. Afternoon highs will be in the lower to middle 90s with heat index values close to 100 degrees. Make sure you are drinking plenty of water and taking breaks in the shade if you are working in the heat. Overnight lows will be in the lower 70s.
A frontal boundary will move in late Wednesday and increase our thunderstorm chances by Wednesday evening. Behind the front it will be hot but the humidity will be a little lower with no rain expected for the 4th of July.
Have a great night.
