Lots of sunshine and comfy temps in the forecast today while we’re in between system. The Sunday forecast is now looking a tad wetter and stormier.
It will not be a complete washout by any means. A warm front will spark a few isolated showers and thunderstorms early Sunday morning. More scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected Sunday afternoon. Right now, the severe threat is very low but a few storms may contain brief gusty winds, heavy rain, and frequent lightning.
A cold front will bring more steady rain late Sunday and into your Monday morning commute. Rain chances will taper off from west to east throughout the day on Monday.
I’ll have more details on the rain chances coming up tonight on WAFF48 News at 6 & 10pm.
