Southerly winds return today bringing more Spring-like temps. Highs will be in the mid 60s. With the warmer temperatures comes more moisture…Most of us will just see an increase in clouds today but a few spotty showers (about 30%) are possible this afternoon.
The forecast for Saturday is very similar with highs in the mid to upper 60s and slim rain chances.
The best chance for widespread showers and thunderstorms arrives ahead of a cold front on Easter Sunday. Showers will start in NW Alabama around daybreak…
…and continue to overspread the region.
Temperatures will still peak in the upper 60s despite the clouds and rain. Some thunderstorms are possible Sunday afternoon but no severe weather is expected.
At this time it looks like the TN Valley will be dry around of just after dinner time Sunday evening.
After this weekend, the unsettled pattern continues. A stronger colder front brings another round of showers Tuesday along with cooler mid week temperatures.
