Well the storms are gone, but so are the warm temperatures. After hitting highs of 65, 70, and 72 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively, the bottom is about to fall out of the thermometer.

We're already going to be a good 25 degrees colder today with temperatures in the mid 40s this afternoon. Even colder air air is in the forecast tomorrow. Another chunck of arctic air is dropping south from Canada.

The leading edge of the arctic air has already reached Chicago and Kansas City and will continue to barrel toward us, arriving while you're sleeping tonight.

Temperatures will drop into the low to mid 20s by morning and with a brisk northwest wind it will feel even colder.

Wind chills could be way down in the teens tomorrow morning.

Even with a sunny afternoon we will struggle to warm up. Temperatures won't make it out of the 30s for highs.

Arctic air is usually very dry, but WAFF 48 Pinpoint Predictor is spitting out a little snow shower and flurry activity as the colder air arrives tonight.
