It's week 10 of college football. Looks like another great week of games. And a pretty nice Saturday weather-wise for the games of local interest.
Alabama has the marquee matchup, travelling to Baton Rouge to take on LSU in a night game in Death Valley. The winner of this one is in the driver's seat to win the West and get a slot in the SEC Championship Game. It will be the 3rd time the Tide and Tigers have met in the last 12 months.
The weather should be pleasant at kickoff with clear skies and temperatures in the low 70s. It won't cool down too much during the game with temperatures only dropping back into the upper 60s heading into the 4th quarter.
Auburn is at home again this week as visiting New Mexico State comes to Jordan-Hare stadium. The winner of this one will pick up just their second win of the season. Kickoff is set for 11:30am.
The weather is the real winner here. It's looking very nice at kickoff with sunshine and temperatures in the low 70s. It will be even better by the 4th quarter with temperatures nearing 80 by the end of the game.
Temperatures look a little cooler for Tennessee in Knoxville as Troy comes to town. You'll need the jackets or sweatshirts if you're going to this one. Low 50s at kickoff warm to near 60 by the 4th quarter.
With some help, Alabama A&M still has a shot at winning the SWAC East, but aside from a trip to Auburn, they're going to have to be perfect the rest of the way. The weather will be perfect in Louis Crews Stadium Saturday for the game against Southern. Temperatures will be in the 70s with sunshine and dry weather expected.
UNA is trying to end a 2 game skid as non-conference foe Tarleton State visits Braly Field. The weather looks fantastic for a Saturday afternoon in early November. Temperatures will be in the 70s to near 80 during the game with dry weather and sunshine expected.
Hope your favorite team wins!
