While Monday's Risk Map covered much of the Valley, today's risk area only includes Sand Mountain. Storm chances will be slight today but there is a better chance for severe weather in NE parts of the state. Strong gusty winds along with frequent lightning and hail would be the primary threats.
General storms may pop up anywhere today, but the area east of I-65 looks to have a better chance. Elsewhere drier air will swish through here today and sunshine is the prevailing weather icon for much of our day.
